    Correct Clock Hand Color 1959

I have been able to get my clock to work. while it's disassembled I want to repaint the hands. the hour hand is currently a faded red-ish orange, but the minute hand is off white on the stem, but the same red-ish orange on the core - which doesn't show as it's under the second hand (which is chrome). I'm guessing that the minute and hour hands are both probably the same - based on Ford vintage clock pictures I've seen online. though none are for Skyliner. So I'm guessing that the minute hand has faded off the red-ish color.

Thought that I would check with you all first. thanks!

Just ran out and took a look. My '59 clock is original, untouched and hasn't faded any that I know of. Both the 'Hour' hand and the 'Minute' hand are what I would call the "red-ish orange" color that you mentioned. The 'Second' hand is a light gold color. Definitely not the same silvery color as the clock face.
