    1959 Skyliner Frame Dimensions

Hi, i'm new to this forum and do not own a Skyliner myself but I need some information that I know somebody here will probably know. Was the frame used on the Skyliner cars that same as the frame used on the convertibles? I cannot find a frame diagram specifically labeled as for the Skyliner cars but I have seen one for the convertible models and I am thinking that these would be the same. Does anybody know if I am correct about this>

If you look in the shop manual you will see that the Skyliner frame is about six inches longer and is narrower at the rear than the convertible frame.

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction, is this diagram in the main 1959 Ford shop manual or the 1959 Body Service manual? thanks Gary
