    Inherited a 59

We bought the car when I was about 3 years old I grew up working on it. Later in life Dad had it fully restored he was a member of the club for years. But as he got older it sat in storage for 15+ years. It has issues coolant in the oil pan, problems with the retractable roof and rust in the tank. Guess I will start with the fuel system tank fuel lines and carb. Once I get it starting reliably I can tear the heads off and replace the gaskets. Looking forward to chating with you

Good luck and don't get deterred. You can ignite those old memories and make new ones as well. They reproduce the tank if you need one. The engine is easy enough - there are so many parts and it was commonly used across many platforms. Now the top - That's always the Elephant in the room.
