59 front roof locks, won't lock

Hello, I'm new here & so far have really enjoyed reading all the post.

I have a 59, & the front roof locks, won't spin, to lock down to the windshield from, everything else on the top work perfect, I'm think it's a limit switch or a selinoid, not sure though.

Any help or comment would be greatly appreciated

    Thanks
    JB

I'm surprised none of the experts have replied to your post.
If your front roof locks do not turn in either direction it probably the motor, if they do not turn in just the lock down position and the rear ones are working you may have a broken wire.
You can remove the inside header trim to get at the motor and test it with a jumper wire.
You need to have the top manual & that will tell you what to check.

Anyone who knows where I can buy the special bolts in the linkage? In other words, a company that have a lot of Skyliner's parts?
