    1959 skyliner top switch

I met a man with a 1959 skyliner on Saturday with a switch from 1957-58 skyliner he believes is the same switch on a 1959
but I think that the 1959 skyliner used its own

Your right, the 59 is more like a toggle switch where by the 57/58 is a push pull type switch.

Can you post a pic of the two types for reference? My '59 has a push pull type switch. I would like to see if someone has installed an incorrect one.

Thanks for the pic. It reveals that my '59 has the older style. I guess I'll be on the lookout for the correct one. Thanks again. Sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words.

I sell repro 59 TOP switches. The knob is exactly like the original, but the switch itself is an updated type.
    You can see them here:

I also have 1 59 NOS TOP knob only.
