    Delay in roof retracting

My 58 is essentially done. The top goes up and down fine except when retracting all the locks unlock but ratchet, with anywhere from 5 to 6 bumps, before the roof starts to retract. Any way to fix this ,or is this normal and okay to leave the way it is?

This is a very common problem but its not normal, the top manual tells you how to adjust the switches and screws so they work together.
As long as the top doesn't try to go up before all the screws have unlocked I don't think you can hurt anything.

Would the roof position "A" switch do this if not open when screws are fully unlocked? I have checked the other switches and they appear to be set right and functioning well. I am not sure why stopping the lock motors would start the roof retract motor but maybe that is the problem.
