My mom's original owned 1959 Ford Fairlane Galaxie Skyliner Retractable Hardtop is one of those amazing classic "barn cars" car guys and collectors dream of finding. My mother bought this classic back in 1959. Since 1982, the car has been tucked away in a barn in Kentucky. Following the passing of my father in 1999, the plans of restoration of the car died along with him. In the decades that have followed locked away in an old tobacco barn stripping room, mostly forgotten, the car sits covered in years of dust and dirt on four flat tires but entirely intact.
