    Removing Undercoating

I had a friend tell me how he got the Undercoating off his restoration project the inexpensive way, by using oven cleaner. he said to make sure you got the kind that did Not need to be heated, and follow the instructions. It can remove paint if left on way too long. It washes off the grit and grime with a garden hose. I tried it and it took about 3 applications and 1 1/2 hours to clean my Transmission spotless.

    Lynn,

I tried another method and it worked great although others may not have the same luck. Thanks Patty! See pic.Jan 20 2009 002_(1).jpg
