Disc brake conversion on my 59

    Hi
Does someone have a step by step process for converting My 59 Skyliner to disc brakes. I would like to do it but I am unsure of all the steps involved. Do I need to get different 14inch rims?
    Thanks

If you have access to parts cars any 70's Ford product with factory 14" 4.5 lug pattern wheels will give you what you need. If you take the parts off your self you can reverse it on your car, you need the spindles and all the brake related parts. The only items you may actually want to use are the spindles and maybe the steel lines if they are good the rest of the parts you can buy new or use as trade in cores. If the parts car has the steel wheels that's a plus as you need later 14" wheels with the disc brake off set, original wheels won't work unless you use spacers.
