I found out the hard way that my gas gauge no longer works. so now I am looking for the sending unit as I'm pretty sure that's where the problem is. How hard are they to find? I can't seem to find one

Aftermarket sending units are pretty easy to find. B7A-9275-B. Look at Coucours Parts and Accessories, they show one.
