Power Brake Booster

I am installing a new dual master cylinder with a power brake booster. I have tried two different boosters and neither one will work when the brakes are applied. I have plenty of vacuum at the booster and do not have any brake boost. Does anyone know what the problem could be with the boosters? The parts came from Tom's Classics and were supposed to work on 1959 Fords. Thanks for any info.

got the check valve installed?

Yes, the check valve is installed. The place where I bought the booster is shipping another one. I would not have expected to get two bad ones in a row. I guess anything is possible. I have a regular repair shop working on the problem and they can't figure out anything , but a booster being bad. Do have anythingelse that the problem could be.
