Bushes for inner front suspension shafts on '57?

    Hi Folks,
I am struggling to find a source of new rubber/steel bonded bushes for top and bottom front A-arms for my '57.
I just need the bushes. (the corresponding shafts I have are in good order)
The diameter of my upper shafts is 0.75in but MAC can only supply bushes for a bigger shaft (I'm estimating at c. 0.770 -.775in).
As regards the lower shaft issue, the kit MAC supplies (per side) has 2 new shafts (at the required 0.875in diameter) as well as 4 bushes to suit, but they wont sell me just the bushes. The shafts are very expensive and I simply don't need them.
Dennis Carpenter respond by saying they don't have any bushes to suit my requirements at all, which seems rather curious.
Does anyone have experience of this topic: Is this something peculiar to Retractables? Perhaps someone could suggest a suitable source for new bushes. Job currently stopped!
    Regards
    John K (kirky2)

    Skyliner bushings

This is where I got a set for my 57 Skyliner:

My mechanic had no problems installing them.

Thanks folks. I have tried Concours parts and the bore of their top inner arm bushes is circa 0.775in.. Mine new ones need to be 0.75in (the old ones were!)
    I will try Kantor.

    Hi Folks
I have just received a set of top A arm bushes from Dennis Carpenter and, although still a bit sloppy on the shafts, are a much neater fit than the ones from MAC, so I'll use these. No time left to investigate further. Thanks for you help.
