I was so pleased with my roof jack question I thought I would try to get lucky again. I broke my roof jack trying to find out why my top works in every cycle except the start of the roof retract. The top unlocks but then just continues to turn the locks but will not retract. If I raise the roof a few inches by activating the roof motor, I can then continue to raise the roof with the switch. The other interesting thing is upon closing the roof it locks but the right rear lock continues to ratchet until I release the switch when the deck lid has locked and the light goes out. I can also put some current through the roof retract limit switch to the relay and the top will retract normally with the switch. Anybody have a suggestion.
