    New proud Skyliner Owner

    Hello!

I just bought the car I dreamed of for years, a 59 Skyliner!

No perfect condition but a good basis for further improvements I hope.

Currently some work is done on the car in a workshop to make it safe for road trips (Change all fluids, install eĺectric Fan, change shocks etc...) and then I can hit the road for some nice trips!

As some technical questions will come up for sure, I hope this forum can provide me with some expertise

    Greetings,
    Johannes

Hi and welcome. Nice car! I like the accessory mirrors and the tinted glass.
Don't feel neglected or shunned if your questions/comments go without response for days/weeks on end. There are some helpful and knowledgeable folks on this forum but nothing happens too fast.
    Good luck with your car!

    Hello and welcome.

    Looks nice.

I don't think many of them are perfect, but that is to be expected at their age!

    Congratulations!
That is what my car is supposed to look like according to my data tag... but previous to my ownership someone changed color to
Inca Gold. I like the cars in either color.

    HEy folks,

thank you for the thumbs up!

As it goes with improvements, the list is increasing...Vintage Air A/C is currently installed, some work on the roof electrics.

Has someone done a disc brake conversion? How "good" are the original drums? It is not the lightest car around!

    Greetings from Germany
