    Engine Dyno Testing for 332 & 352

    Hi,
Usually it would not apply to these types of cars but I'm curious if anyone has ever had there engine Dyno tested. I'm trying to determine some engine acceleration/power issues with my car and I cant find the problem. Engine is a 352 and I use both a relatively new Edelbrock 600cfm carb and a fairly fresh rebuilt Autolite 4100. The Engine accelerates clean until 25mph then gets bogged down with not much power from 25-55. Nothing else. Regardless of the carb I used. There is a new fuel filter on as well.

Should I put it on a Dyno machine to get the real story - Would that help me solve my problem? I know its usually for "Tuner" type cars and racers so just grabbing for straws.

I don't think its the fuel pump but who knows. Suggestions are welcomed.

Check your distributor advance. 90% of carb problems are ignition!
The Autolite will run better and give better gas mileage.

    Goodluck,

    Ron.
