    LED Headlights Upgrade

Someone who is familiar with LED upgrade of headlights on a 59 Retractable...what is the correct size on the headlights?

I'm always game for subtle technology improvements but the price seems kind of steep. Did you give consideration to a high quality halogen light which is still a massive improvement over the original ones. I was thinking of switching to LED 3 years ago but rolled the dice on some quality halogen bulbs that do a great job. Much better than the original stock. Halogens cost $10-$15 USD.

I also don't use a generator(switched to alternator) so it depends if your trying to decrease the pull from your electrical system while increasing the illumination at the same time. Check the lumens vs. the Halogen bulb.

    Just a suggestion.

The money you save can be used on a nice alternator that looks just like a generator.

    Good luck

Thanks for your reply "Finster". May see what I do, expect LED technology to be cheaper eventually. On the Facebook page "Ford Skyliner Norden" there is a Finnish 59 Skyliner that has switched to LED, looks really good, but it costs some more than Halogen
