Chromed 1957 Eyebrows

I have seen several 1957 Skyliners with chromed eyebrows. Were they factory, dealer or aftermarket?

I think this has been addressed before but Chrome eyebrows are either after market or someone had the original ones chrome plated.
Company's like JC Whitney used to sell chrome accessories like this back in the day.

I have an old Ford full page magazine ad from 1957 showing a 57 red and white either conv or retractable with chromed eyebrows.

I have seen them on many 57 Fords too but I have never seen them advertized in any Ford parts books nor could I find them listed as a accessory anywhere. Would like to know for sure on this because if Ford offered them I would like to have some myself.

I was just recently informed by a fellow member that back in 1957 he purchased a new 1957 Fairlane and it was delivered with chrome eyebrows.
