power steering reservoir

Hi,
I want to take off and paint my power steering reservoir on my 59 ford. I guess the color is argent.

How does it come off? Is the attach point within the reservoir or underneath it.

Also - What kind of fluid should be used?

There's a bolt on top next to the cap. Remove that. Then take the top of the reservoir off. Under that you will see a nut at the bottom with a threaded hole in the center. remove that nut and the reservoir will come off. There are a couple of O-rings under that reservoir so be careful not to loose them. MAC's http://macsautoparts.com, sells a seal kit. Part #: 49-34844-1. It's about $16.
