Windlace replacement

Need advice on how to replace front windlace on 1959 Skyliner. Does dash have to be removed or what is the best procedure? Have new windlace and door panel kit from Lebarron Bonney.. Would appreciate advice on best way to do this

Loosen the dash mounting screws along the sides of the dash. Use hog rings clipped to the wind lace and feed up between the dash and body. Will hold it in place once the dash mounting screws are tightened
