I am looking to install a hand brake light in my 59 retractable. I keep forgetting to release the e-brake and I had one laying around. I was wonderign if there are any special issues I can expect to encounter and if anyone has done this before.
Wiring issues?

Any advice would be great.
Thanks

I am going to install one in my car for the same reason. The 1959 ford wiring diagram book shows location for indicator placement and it shows power from acc terminal of ignition switch and ground from ebrake switch if you need this picture send me your address and I will send you a copy.
Good Luck Jiml

Robert,

My daughter was able to scan this for me and put it on computer, so I thought I would post it so if anyone else was interested it would be there.

Thanks for the response and diagram - I appreciate it.

I was curious if anyone else has ever installed one of these and if so was it useful? I guess before I drill a hole in a perfectly good dash board I want to know if its worth it.

Any current users?
