57 deck lid alignment

I am considering buying a 57. The deck lid appears to have a 1/2 -3/4 inch gap in the back. When the lid raises to lower the top, it bounced up a couple of times.

I think the deck needs to be lowered or moved back to release the tension on the front motors as it unscrews itself to raise the deck lid.

I have a video and pics of gap but can't get it to attached.

Any thoughts? Thanks Steve

I'm not an expert by any means, but the deck lid does appear to have a full range of adjustment on the hinges.
